Russian Minister of Economic Development, Maxim Oreshkin, offered Uzbekistan to participate in the implementation of national projects in Russia, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
"We will definitely talk about how Uzbekistan can participate in the implementation of Russian national projects," said Oreshkin. The head of Russian Ministry of Economic Development reported that he plans to discuss this topic at a meeting with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The minister noted that Russian side is ready to share experiences, best practices, programs and will actively engage the Uzbek partners in this work.
As evidence, Oreshkin cited the example of productive negotiations of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Veronika Skvortsova with her Uzbek colleagues, where parties agreed to implement a number of joint projects. In the future, a joint guidebook in agriculture will be adopted.
In January-February, the trade between Uzbekistan and Russia increased by 1.7 percent - up to $877.4 million, including Uzbek exports grew 1.7 times - up to $301.5 million, imports fell by 16 percent - to $576 million.
