Georgia exported 6,229 tons of ferro-alloys totaling $5.9 million to Turkey from January through February 2020, Trend reports referring to Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).
On an annualized basis, Georgia increased the export of ferro-alloys to Turkey by 3,681 tons.
Over the same period last year, 2,548 tons of ferro-alloys were exported by Georgia to Turkey for a total amount of $2.8 million.
During the reporting period, Georgia exported 67 units of motor cars totaling $2.4 million to Turkey, an increase of 64 units compared to the same period in 2019.
Over the same period last year, three units of motor cars were exported by Georgia to Turkey for a total amount of $11,600.
Turkey ranks first in Georgia’s commodity circulation.
From January through February 2020, total imports to Georgia from Turkey amounted to $214.5 million. In turn, Georgia exported goods worth $36 million to Turkey.
The foreign trade turnover of Georgia with Turkey in January 2020 exceeded $250.5 million, which is 13.5 percent of the total trade turnover of Georgia.
