Eighty-two foreign investment projects were approved in the industrial, mining and trade sector of Iran in the first 11 months of last Iranian year (March 21, 2019 - February 19, 2020), Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade.
According to the report, 65 foreign investment projects were approved in the same period of the year before last (from March 21, 2018 to February 19, 2019).
The value of foreign investments amounted to $854.7 million during the reporting period. Meanwhile, projects worth $914 million were approved in the first 11 months of the previous year.
Investment projects increased by 26.2 percent in terms of number and decreased by 6.5 percent in terms of value, said the ministry.
