By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

After a 14-day break, the Kobuleti plant of Georgian Adjara Textile Company resumed operation, Trend reports via Georgian media.

As noted by the company’s financial director Gia Lominadze, the enterprise restarted operation, but with a limited number of employees.

“We continue negotiations on how to carry on operation and which regulations to apply. We have no specified information yet which orders were cancelled amid the suspension,” Lominadze said.

“Naturally, these developments have significantly affected our finances. Our losses in 2 weeks amounted to around 0.5 million lari ($156,653). Only those employees that were found uninfected after repeated tests, will continue working,” Lominadze said.

Meanwhile, the company temporarily closed the Kobuleti plant on September 26 after several employees were found infected.
