Trend:

Iran's Guardian Council is not providing any comments on the Iran-China agreement, until the country's government asks to do so, said the Guardian Council Spokesman Abbasali Kadkhodaei, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

"The Guardian Council would review the agreement when the parliament submits a bill to us about it," said Kadkhodaei.

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif announced in early July that China and Iran were in the process of negotiating a 25-year strategic agreement, aiming to work together more closely in various fields.

The Guardian Council has also made its decision on imposing tax on empty houses and increase of capital in stock market companies.

"The Guardian Council has approved the bill for raising capital of companies that are active in Tehran Stock Exchange or over-the-counter exchange," he said.
