The manufacturing of passenger cars in Iran increased by 19 percent, pickups – by 39.4 percent, combines – by 41.3 percent, and tractors – by 1 percent during the first 6 months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through September 21, 2020), Trend reports citing the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
However, the manufacturing of buses, minibusses, and vans decreased by 10.3 percent, vegetable oil – by 18.5 percent, leather – by 19.3 percent, footwear – by 1.9 percent, and cigarettes – by 5 percent during the reporting period, according to the report.
