Presentation of the “Cadastre of Azerbaijan” project implementation funded by the government of Switzerland took place on 22 November. Representatives of the Swiss company Baku office, the chairman of the State Committee on Land and Cartography Garib Mammadov and other officials took part in the event, Trend reports.
Mammadov noted, the government of Switzerland allocated $2 million for the project implementation and it started in November 2003.
According to him, the project is significant for Azerbaijan, as there were no cadastres of towns in the country. Various equipment, computer technologies have been purchased for the funds.
