Draft laws on political parties and freedom of denomination will be supplemented and amended, the head of the permanent commission on human rights in Milli Mejlis, Rabiyat Aslanova told Trend.
The above mentioned drafts had to be discussed at the spring session of parliament. However, by unknown reasons their discussion has been postponed till the fall session. The draft on political parties is prepared by the relevant commissions in parliament. My commission has prepared a number of changes and supplements to this document, Aslanova said.
Such issues as forming of multiparty system and its activity fields will be reflected in the article. A draft law on gender equality will be discussed at the spring session of parliament. Amnesty issue with the regard of 15th anniversary of Azerbaijani independence, celebrated on May 28, will not be on the agenda of the human rights commission, she noted.
