(autoinsidernews) - According to reports, the list of potential buyers for Aston Martin once more than 30 strong has been pared down to just four parties. The surprise bidder in the final list is Syrian-born billionaire, Simon Halabi, who reportedly offered a bid of ВЈ600 million ($1.18 billion) for the brand.
Many of the original interested parties including Jac Nasser, former chief executive of Ford, and Bernard Arnault and Albert Frere, two of Europe's most prominent billionaires have been knocked out of the race, reports Trend.
