Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / Azerbaijani Finance Ministry reported about increase of incomes into the public budget from large tax-payers. According to the Finance Ministry, some 52.6% (AZN 544.01mln) of the taxes collected by tax bodies in the 1st half of 2007 was paid by nine large tax-payers. Compared to the same period of 2006, the figure increased by 36.8%. The specific weight of the incomes received from large tax-payers in the 1st half of 2006 made up 26.2% of the total budget incomes.
In January-June, the SOCAR paid off AZN 449.6mln or 82.6% of the funds collected by tax bodies (35.5% in the same period of 2006). The rest 8 large tax-payers paid off AZN 94.43mln, what is 10.39% of the total tax incomes.
Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry transferred AZN 8.8mln to the public budget, what is by 2.1% less than in 2006, Azerigaz CJSC - AZN 21.7mln (63.5% increase), Azerbaijan State Railway - AZN 10.3mln (4.2%), Azerenerji OJSC - 33.9mln (4.1 times increase), AzAL state company - 13.2mln (27%), Azerkimya state company - AZN 0.35mln (74.8% decrease), Azersu JSC - AZN 5.01mln (4.2% increase), Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company - AZN 1.13mln (87.6%).
In January-June 2007, the Tax Ministry fulfilled the forecast in 100.8%, transferring AZN 909.24mln or 87.8% of the total tax incomes to the public budget.
