Azerbaijan, Baku Trend corr. U.Ismayilova / Mammad Gaziyev, the head of the sector on controlling technical security issues of the inspectorate, reported that the tragedy of the collapsed building near the Neapol resort building happened due to a violation in the technical safety rules.
Workers, Rafik Mammadov 43, and Rauf Abdullayev 43, were trapped under a collapsed building on 14 August.
Rescue workers managed to save Rasim Mammadov.
Gasimov noted that the incident happened due to non-professionalism among the construction workers.
Inspectors revealed 470 violations of rules in 56 construction facilities. Some 418 of them were resolved. About thirteen workers have died as a result of similar incidents.
