Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 July / Trend / Within first six months of this year the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) repaired 52 ships, SOCAR reported.
Fourteen ships experienced factory repair (at Fleet's shipyard), 15 - routine repair, 23 - dock repair. Out of 52 ships, 38 were repaired at SOCAR enterprises and 14 at other organizations' enterprises.
In June, 35 vessels were repaired, 4 put to the dock. Eighteen vessels are expected to be repaired and 7 will be laid idle.
Caspian Sea Oil Fleet owns 258 vessels, with 198 of them operated.
Caspian Sea Oil Fleet supports offshore operations of SOCAR and other companies operating in the Caspian Sea.
