Azerbaijan, Baku, July 16 /Trend/
Azerenergy JSC currently implements the second stage of modernization of energy systems - SCADA/EMS, which envisages complete automation of dispatch control. The project aims to create a set of technical tools and capabilities for centralized management of the entire power system, the JSC said on June 16.
According to the source, this management means continuous monitoring the functioning of all major components of energy in real time, flows of active and reactive power in high-voltage networks, as well as gathering information and data in real time about the presence or possibility of events that might have impact on the parametric state power system.
In the first phase of establishment of this complex, terminals for collecting and processing technical information and data will be established on the two nodal substations in Absheron and Khirdalan, and communications, servers and other equipment in the central control point (CDP). This equipment provides transmission and data storage and transmission of commands to these remote terminals.
The second phase of the complex management of the power system envisages the creation of a new communications system. The second main component is 51 remote terminal of collection and processing of technical information and data. With the communication system, these terminals were connected to the CDP, where new servers were established. With the help of these servers, control commands will also be sent to power station and network high-voltage substation. Currently remote terminals are installed for collecting and processing technical information and data.
