SOCAR's Production Association "Azerkimya" conducted an event to mark the ninth anniversary of putting a steam unit into operation, SOCAR said.
According to the report, the construction of the unit began March 24, 1999. It was commissioned in July 2001.
Capacity of the unit is 480 tons of steam (at 110 atmospheres) and 32 megawatts of electricity. All the processes are regulated by the computer on the installation equipped with modern technologies.
