Iranian scientists succeeded in construction of combined solar & wind power plant, IRIB reported quoting head of energy center in Meshkinshahr as saying.
"By launching combined solar & wind power plant the electricity production will be permanent and in good conditions," he said.
He noted the combine solar & wind power plant the rate of production will increase and it has advantage of easy installation.
It's expected the combine plants provide 12 percent of country's electricity.
The hybrid power plant reduces air pollution while the cost of power production will be 30 percent cheaper than normal plants.
The power plants will be installed in 17 research centers and start to produce power in next 3 to 5 years, it's expected hybrid power plants would produce 340 kilo watt electricity
