Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, located in northern Kazakhstan, has refined the record volume of oil for ten years last month, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant Director General Shukhrat Danbai told Trend in an interview.

"We have refined 500,000 tons of oil this month," Shukhrat Danbai said. "Previously, the monthly volume of oil did not exceed 250,000 - 300,000 tons."
According to Danbai, the plant could make this achievement by applying some technological measures to improve the operation of the equipment in the enterprise.
"At the end of this year, we intend to increase the volume to 4,646,000 tons of oil," Danbai added.
The PPCP, built in the 1970s, is the youngest and largest refinery of the three existing in the north of the country. Initially, it was technologically oriented to oil refinery in West - Siberian fields in Siberia.

By the end of the year Italian company Eni should present feasibility study for modernization of the plant.
