BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 20. A contract was signed between Iran's Dehloran Petrochemical Company and Energy Industries Engineering & Design (EIED) for the construction of 3 new facilities for the production of petrochemical products on August 17, 2022, Trend reports citing Oil Industry Pension Fund Investment Company (OPIC).
According to the report, the value of the contract is 459 million euros and the mentioned facilities are estimated to be put into use within 34 months.
After the units are fully put into operation, annual heavy polyethylene production will reach 300,000 tons, light polyethylene production - by 300,000 tons, and polypropylene production - by 160,000 tons.
These mentioned 3 petrochemical facilities will be built in the territory of Dehloran Petrochemical Company in Ilam Province (western Iran).
