BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. Azerbaijan exported over 1.1 million tons of oil and petroleum products to India from January through July 2023, which is 7.22 percent of the total Azerbaijani exports of raw materials, Trend reports.
Over the previous year, this indicator dropped by 9.24 percent, or more than 114,303 tons.
Additionally, about $666.5 million worth of oil and petroleum products were exported from Azerbaijan to India during the reporting period, a decrease of 35.21 percent from the corresponding period in 2022.
From January through July 2023, Azerbaijan exported over 15.5 million tons of oil and petroleum products, 5.33 percent less than during the same period the previous year (16.4 million tons). More than $9.4 billion worth of oil was exported, which is $2.9 billion, or 23.82 percent, less than from January through July 2022.
