Azerigaz AO is seeking funds to implement the project on installation of new gas pipeline Sangachal-Garadagh-Hajigabul, the company officials told Trend. The feasibility study under the project will be ready in short. The pipeline is necessary to receive gas from Shah Deniz field to the gas transportation system.
The new pipeline is suggested to be 68km long. By preliminary estimations, the project will swallow $45mln.
At the moment, Azerigaz system is able to receive gas from Shah Deniz in amounts planned at the first stages, 10mln m3 of gas a day. In 2007, the companys system will be able to receive the whole gas pumped from Shah Deniz and Azeri fields.
