Turkmenistan has started to prepare state budget draft for 2021, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State Agency.
It is being prepared in accordance with the decree of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The relevant instructions were given to the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The draft budget should include the main directions of socio-economic development and investment program of the country and should be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers by November 1, 2020.
It is necessary to send out calculation forms and guidelines for the preparation of the above-mentioned draft to all ministries, industry departments and municipal organizations of the regions and the city of Ashgabat by June 1, 2020.
The president also ordered to create a working group of specialists and organize its effective work for the preparation of the above-mentioned draft.
Turkmenistan's state budget for 2020 for revenues was approved in the amount of 84.39 million turkmen million manat ($24.14 million) and expenditures in the amount of 84.29 million manat ($24.11 million).
Protected items of expenditure are wages, pensions, state allowances and scholarships.
