By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:

This week, the Business Development Director of Azerbaijan’s Cubics Technology company Chingiz Pirizade announced the company's focus on the development of all market segments, including small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), Trend reports.

According to him, the company's product line is innovative, reliable and simple solutions that help to significantly improve business efficiency. The company, in particular, offers its Cubics BMS (Business Management System) and Cubics POS solutions for the management of core business processes and sales automation.

In addition, it became known this week that PaySis (the legal owner of the E-PUL payment system), together with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), is working on the implementation of a state project in the field of P2P (money transfer from card to card).

Thanks to the joint campaign of E-PUL and MasterCard in Azerbaijan, the number of P2P money transfer transactions has grown to several million per month. Citizens of the country actively use E-PUL services in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran and Goychay. In addition, the company plans to implement a number of solutions that are in demand among users in its mobile application in the near future. Users will be able to scan receipts and get VAT refunds on purchases under the ƏDV geri al. Also in the update, there will be a new function "My personal link / QR" for receiving payments, paying for mobile services, transferring money to bank cards by phone number, invoicing and transfers from account to account, as well as from card to account through the AnyPay service.

Also this week, it was reported that in the second quarter of 2021, the number of cyberattacks on the betting segment quadrupled. The share of attacks on this segment increased from 2.2 percent to 8.38 percent, which demonstrates a typical scenario of organizing custom DDoS attacks in a competitive environment.

With the start of the European Football Championship, players in the sports betting industry began to actively advertise their services on the Internet, investing heavily in marketing. Therefore, it is not surprising that the number of attacks on this segment has sharply increased due to a significant increase in competition. At the same time, attacks on the gaming sector decreased five times (from 11.74 to 2.29 percent), and on the FOREX segment - two times (from 5.87 to 2.74 percent).

In addition, it was reported this week that the Center for Combating Computer Incidents (CERT) of Azerbaijan plans to develop an antivirus solution based on the received behavioral data and "cloud" technologies. At the same time, CERT does not exclude the possibility that the current version of the project may be frozen and the creation of a new anti-virus program based on other technologies will begin.
