Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev ordered to the head of Kazakh Foreign Ministry Erlan Idrissov to analyze the relations between Russia and West, the presidency reported on Dec. 18.
"In the current environment it is necessary to continuously analyze the international situation in the context of the development of relations between Russia and the West, as well as trends in the global economy", the president said.
The president noted that the interest of other countries to Kazakhstan is growing and mutually beneficial cooperation with these countries is developing.
Erlan Idrissov also stressed that foreign countries support initiatives of Kazakh president. He said new economic policy initiated by President Nazarbayev is highly assessed in the world.
"It is perceived as an objective and well-verified program which will ensure a stable and sustainable growth of Kazakhstan in difficult environment," the minister said.
During the meeting Idrissov reported on the results of year in the international area.
The president in turn gave relevant instructions.
