The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan has received applications for accreditation from 50 international observers to the presidential elections, scheduled for Oct. 30, 24.kg reported with reference to the CEC Department of Election Technologies and International Cooperation.

The OSCE/ODIHR requests to accredit 43 persons. The CEC of Russia and Belarus have submitted a request for 2 observers each. One observer will represent the Embassy of Turkey and two - the EurAsEC inter-Parliamentary Assembly.

"The accreditation begins on September 30,|" said Berik Isakov, the Chief of the CEC Department of Election Technologies and International Cooperation. "We are receiving bids and checking documents in this respect."
