BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. Kyrgyzstan is keen to establish a joint venture with South Korea for the production of electric cars, said the head of Kyrgyzindustry JSC Jarasul Abduraimov today, Trend reports via tazabek.kg
During the first Kyrgyz-Korean forum in Bishkek, he informed that Kyrgyzstan is ready to establish cooperation and open joint ventures for electric cars and light trucks produced for example South Korean Hyundai Porter.
In addition, the Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev at the forum also noted that currently, a total of 100 South Korean companies are operating in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and South Korea in the past year increased by 13 percent compared to 2020.
