BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 22. Kyrgyzstan aims to continue its efforts in developing domestic production to boost the export of goods in 2024, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev said during a press conference reviewing the outcomes of the year 2023, Trend reports.
"In 2024 and in the medium term, the ministry will continue to attract investments and build domestic manufacturing in order to expand products exports," he said.
Amanaliev further highlighted ongoing plans for the modernization of the oil refinery plants such as Junda China Petrol, Kyrgyz Petroleum, and Kyrgyzneftegaz to meet the EAEU's gasoline standards.
Additionally, the upcoming modernization and launch of the Kadamjay Antimony Factory and the inauguration of an asphalt concrete plant in Tokmok are also in progress.
He also noted that 100 electric charging stations will be installed along major highways like Bishkek – Karakol, Bishkek – Osh, and across intercity roads, particularly along popular tourist routes. In cooperation with Chongqing Changan Automobile Company, an enterprise will be established to assemble electric vehicles and produce chargers.
