BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. The State Customs Service of Tajikistan has published data on the amount of humanitarian assistance received from January through September 2022, Trend reports with reference to avesta.tj.
As reported, Tajikistan in the first 9 months of this year received $110 million worth of humanitarian aid from 57 countries.
During the reporting period, China sent the bulk of the humanitarian aid to Tajikistan (32.5 percent of the total) followed by the US (30.1 percent) and India (5.4 percent).
The volume of humanitarian aid, which included flour, vegetable oil, medicines, and other food products, received in 9 months of this year by Tajikistan amounted to 11,500 tons.
Meanwhile, overall in 2021, Tajikistan received humanitarian aid in the amount of $111 million from 62 countries.
