BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. UK acquired Jet A1 aviation kerosene during trading on May 21 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing Orient news.

Entrepreneurs from UK purchased 5,000 tons of aviation kerosene on the stock exchange at a price of $1,033.25 per ton.

The total amount of the transaction was $5.1 million.

According to the exchange, on May 12, businessmen from the UK purchased diesel fuel in the amount of $ 2.4 million.

Jet A-1 aviation kerosene is a highly refined fuel that is used in gas turbine engines of civil aircraft in Europe, US and Canada. Its production was established at the Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery in 2021.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
