Uzbekistan exported 62,300 tons of carrots to 11 countries in the amount of $9.9 million in 2021, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, the export of carrots increased by 10,500 tons compared to 2020.
The biggest amount of carrots were exported from the country’s Andijan region, which was worth $3.2 million, followed by the Republic of Karakalpakstan (1.4 million). Taskent region is in third place ($1.2 million), Fergana region comes next ($1 million).
