Ecuador, Iran to expand trade ties

Iran's Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari said at a meeting with Ecuador's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Integration Ricardo Patino that he hoped the two countries to expand their trade relations.
At his meeting with Ricardo Patino, Ghazanfari said that Iran is ready to export goods beginning from tractors, dried fruits, nuts and medicaments to the Andean country, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reports.
During his three-day visit Patino met with leading Iranian officials as the two nations work to strengthen their cooperation and trade ties.
Last year, Ecuador and Iran reached $3.2 billion in trade.
