Iran to launch permanent exhibition of knowledge-based products in several countries

The Capability Building Director at Iran National Innovation Fund announced launching a permanent exhibition of knowledge-based products in Turkey, Syria, Russia, Iraq (Karbala), Kenya, the United Arab Emirates and India, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The Capability Building Director at Iran National Innovation Fund Marzieh Shaverdi delivered her speech in the series of online meetings of the Innovation Fund about Iran-Oman's business status.

She noted that the export service package of this fund includes "export empowerment", "export networking" and "export finance"

Shaverdi stated that the Innovation Fund pays up to $2,300 for domestic education.

She announced the support of knowledge-based companies to attend international exhibitions as another service of the fund.

Shaverdi went on to note that since 2019, 163 foreign exhibitions covered by the fund's support list, the topics of the exhibitions including information and communication technology, oil and gas, health, advanced materials, transport industry, medicinal plants and agriculture, industry, and machinery, power, construction industry, mining industry, textile, and food industries.

She stated that 70 percent of the cost of knowledge-based companies` exhibition attendance was spent by the Fund.

Shavardi mentioned the establishment of a joint venture capital fund and providing credit for setting up an assembly line abroad as the fund's export financing services.
