World oil prices may grow to $100 per barrel considering the high demand on energy resources, the Iranian vice oil minister, Nady Nejad-Hosseininan told.
It is possible- he said after meeting with the Indian oil minister, as the demand exceeds supplies and supplies can not grow within a short period, Bloomberg reports.
Oil prices reached $73 per barrel at the New- York market exchange (NYMEX) after the 2-day growth, due to the threats of instability of oil exports from Iran, which is the 4th largest supplier in the world. Prices of future oil contracts grew in NYMEX on 41 cent to $74, 11 per barrel on Tuesday, Interfax reports.
