Iran has become a member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), said Nayereh Pirouzbakht, head of Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran.
This will make Iranian-issued management credentials acceptable in 70 countries, she told IRNA news agency November 13.
Pirouzbakht further explained that credentials issued by IAF members will also be accepted in Iran, removing the need for a second assessment in Iran of imported products that are already IAF-accredited.
