The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for June 18:
Export floor: Offers 26,448 tons of bitumen, sulphur and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 78,953 tons of bitumen, vacuum bottom and chemicals as well as polymers and sulphur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,165 tons of wire copper, 3,000 tons of cathode copper, 20,000 tons of low-grade copper, 2,200 tons of rebar basket and nine tons of precious metals concentrate as well as 1,500 tons of 1000 lb aluminum ingots and 600 tons of aluminium billets.
Agriculture floor: Offers 8,000 tons of wheat, 4,450 tons of sugar and 1,200 tons of colza as well as 1,000 tons of crude soybean oil and 1,400 tons of corn fodder.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 520 tons of metal scraps, five tons of used locomotive engine oil and 1,000 tons of palm oil
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
