A contract for the production of 35 spare parts by 32 manufacturers has been signed in Iran, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade for Industries Affairs of Iran Farshad Moghimi said, Trend reports via IRNA.
He said that the cost of this contract is 7.4 trillion rials (about $176 million).
He added that 85 million euros were spent to purchase those spare parts.
“The spare parts that don’t require big investments have been selected,” he said.
He noted that priority in this contract will be given to spare parts not related to car producing companies.
