Leader of Georgia Dream coalition Bidzina Ivanishvili has lodged a complaint against the government of Georgia to the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes under the World Bank.
Ivanishvili's lawyer Archil Kbilashvili said the procedure will take more than two and a half years.
If the Georgian Dream wins the election, Ivanishvili will be defendant and plaintiff at the same time in the arbitration lawsuit. If the claim is met, then Prime Minister Ivanishvili will pay the compensation to businessman Ivanishvili.
Total damages amount to several hundred million dollars. The exact figure will be called by plaintiff after the audit.
