Thousands of protesters marched to the presidential palace in Egypt's northern coastal city of Alexandria, Al Jazeera television reported Friday.
The march began after Friday prayers, a day after President Hosny Mubarak rejected the protesters' demands that he step down immediately, DPA reported.
