At least 16 Iraqis have been killed and another 30 wounded in a suicide bombing at a police recruitment centre in northern Iraq, police have reported.
Two policemen were among the dead. The other victims were in the process of being recruited into the force, reported BBC.
The attack took place in the town of Sinjar, near the northern city of Mosul.
The city is considered by American and Iraqi military officials to be the last urban stronghold of al-Qaeda in Iraq.
