Guatemala confirmed one new A/H1N1 flu case on Sunday, bringing the infection toll to 12 in the country, Health Minister Celso Cerezo said, according to Xinhua.
The new case is a 17-year-old from the city of Antigua, 45 km west of the capital Guatemala City, according to information reaching here from Guatemala.
The patient is isolated at home and is receiving medical treatment.
This is the second confirmed local case in Guatemala without traveling abroad or having contact with a person coming from abroad.
