Turkish PM arrives in Romania for official talks

( IHA ) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived on Thursday in Bucharest as a guest of his Romanian counterpart Calin Popescu Tariceanu to hold official talks on regional and international issues.

Romanian Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu held an official ceremony for the visiting Turkish prime minister on his arrival at the Victoria Palace. Erdogan inspected the honorary detachment following performances of the Turkish and Romanian national anthems.

The two leaders are expected to hold a joint press conference after their face-to-face talks.

Erdogan is expected to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and exchange views on the latest developments in regional and international issues.

Erdogan will be received by the Romanian President Traian Basescu during his visit to Bucherast.
