The European Union supports Turkey in its fight against terrorism, Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security said in an official statement.
"The EU supports Turkey in its fight against terrorism and will continue to work closely with Turkey bilaterally and multilaterally to combat terrorism in all its manifestations and forms," she said.
Ashton expressed her sympathy and solidarity with the families of the victims in Ankara bomb attack.
" I am saddened by reports of a bomb attack in Ankara that claimed the lives of three Turkish citizens and injured many more." she noted. "I express my sympathy and solidarity with the families of the victims and wish a quick recovery to those injured."
An explosion in the Turkish capital Ankara has killed three people and injured 15 more, on Sept. 20.
