Iraq should do away with the terrorist Kurdistan Workers Party (PPK), Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was quoted as saying by the Hurriyet newspaper.
"If Iraq does not take reasonable steps to fight against terrorism, Turkey will do it," Erdogan said.
Iraq should establish an order in its northern areas, he added.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said earlier that Turkey will not tolerate terrorism threats and PKK activity in Iraq.
The group, listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union, launched an armed campaign for an ethnic homeland in the mainly Kurdish southeastern Turkey in 1984, sparking decades of strife that has claimed more than 30,000 lives.
