Iranian police detained an arms-dealing group in Kerman province, Deputy prosecutor of Kerman Ali Asghar Nagavi said, ISNA reported.
He did not disclose how many people were detained ,yet said the group was transferring weapons from Iran's Western provinces bordering with Iraq to Kerman province.
Upon arrest, four AK-47 with ammunition, four Colt guns, and various rifles were seized from the group members.
Last month members of a Wahhabi group, who planned to commit terror acts, were arrested in Iran.
The report said group was offered $100 million by forces that oppose Islamic Revolution outside Iran to kill several well-known clergymen in the country.
