The volume of cargo transportation by vehicles decreased by 10 percent in Azerbaijan during the pandemic, Azerbaijan’s ASE Express company told Trend on Sept. 15.
The cargo transportation by planes has greatly decreased because there are no flights.
ASE Express cargo carrier transports about 1,000 tons of cargo via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway per month. On average, the company dispatches 20 wagons via BTK twice a month.
ASE Express has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1994 and is the official representative of the Turkish ASE Express company, Japanese Overseas Courier Service (OCS), and the US UTi company. The company has over 300 offices worldwide.
