A 3.0-magnitude earthquake occurred early Tuesday in Zagatala region of Azerbaijan, the National Seismic Survey Centre reported.
The tremor was registered at 5:30 am, three kilometers south of the city of Zagatala.
An earthquake with intensity of 7 occurred in Zagatala, which is located close to Sheki, on May 7, followed by eight smaller tremors.
As a result of the quakes, about 3000 houses and 124 social facilities were destroyed in Zagatala region. There were no deaths or serious injuries.
