Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / The bill on 'Natural resources and resorts enhancement 'developed by the permanent parliamentary commission on social policy caused dissatisfaction in the Culture and Tourism Ministry.
The bill was discussed during the parliamentary session on 10 October. The bill does not envisage operation of health centres and resorts by municipalities, Mahir Gahramanov, the head of the Department on Tourism Development at the Culture and Tourism Ministry, said. Most part of budget in municipalities is formed thanks to health centres and resorts in many countries.
"Activities of health centres and resorts should be financed by executive bodies is stated in the bill. It is not right to divide health centres and resorts on local and international levels," Gahramanov said.
The goal of the bill is to expand activities of Azerbaijani health centres and resorts, Khadi Rajabli, the chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on social policy, said. Enhancement of natural resources should also be included into the bill.
The bill will be discussed during the session of the Parliament.
