The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has denied reports on the emergence of Armenian military bases on Russian territory as part of an agreement on establishing the Collective Rapid Response Forces.
"We have had no official reports on any Armenian military bases in Dagestan, the Krasnodar region or anywhere else in the territory of Russia," CSTO Press-Secretary, Vitaly Strugavets, told Trend in a telephone conversation from Moscow.
This week, media has reported that Armenia may have the opportunity to construct two military bases on Russian territory - in Dagestan and the Krasnodar region - to protect the security of transportation and communication networks, as part of an agreement on establishing the Collective Rapid Response Forces
