Georgia, Tbilisi, Oct. 15 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
David Bakradze, Georgian parliament speaker, called Russia's decision in connection with the withdrawal of troops from Perevi true, but insignificant step.
Russian military withdrawal from Perevi is only a part of obligations under the Agreement dated August 12, 2008, Bakradze said at today's meeting of the Bureau of the Parliament.
"The agreement must be fully implemented for Georgia to continue its peaceful development thanks to the efforts of the international community and its support. The decision in connection with Perevi is a correct action. But it must be followed by more significant decisions", speaker said.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said yesterday in Geneva that Russia will withdraw its troops from the village of Perevi in Sachkhere district soon.
