Azerbaijani Defense Ministry: All conditions will be created for observers to monitor parliamentary elections at polling stations established in military units

There will be created all opportunities for observers to monitor the parliamentary elections in the polling stations established in the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's military units in accordance with the Electoral Code, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Spokesman Eldar Sabiroglu told Trend.

There will be created all opportunities for observers to monitor the parliamentary elections in the polling stations established in the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's military units in accordance with the Electoral Code, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Spokesman Eldar Sabiroglu told Trend.

Parliamentary elections are scheduled for Nov. 7. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies.

Observers from the OSCE, Council of Europe, CIS, as well as local observers will monitor the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.

Sabiroglu said the Central Election Commission (CEC) will decide on the venue for the voting for the militaries serving in a special mode five days before the election day.
