President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has voted in the parliamentary elections today.
The President and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva cast their ballot in the polling station No.6 of the Sabail Constituency No.29 in the capital Baku, AzerTAj state news agency reports.
President Aliyev received a ballot, entered the cabin and then put his ballot into the ballot box.
Mehriban Aliyeva also voted in the parliamentary elections.
The Azerbaijani CEC reported that 690 candidates are running for the parliamentary elections.
Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005.
The voting process will end at 19:00 local time.
