The largest forum which is taking place after 11-year break will be held at the Palace of Independence on the left bank of Astana.
OSCE summit to start in Astana

The OSCE Summit is commencing at 10.00 [local time] in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

The largest forum which is taking place after 11-year break will be held at the Palace of Independence on the left bank of Astana.

About 5,000 people arrived in Astana to attend the top meeting. According to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, over 2,500 of these people are participants in the summit, which include heads of states, governments and international organizations.

More than 1,200 journalists will cover the summit.

The agenda of the forum includes security in Europe, problems of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, as well as objectives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in the near future.
